Twitter Fortune Cookie Messages: Threetune.com
Shameless plug, okay well a non-shameless plug because it’s awesome. The result of one days work: threetune.com a website that generates fortune cookie messages from random tweets posted on Twitter.
Threetune also goes one step further and translates the massive amount of non-English Tweets to English no matter what the language is thanks to Google’s useful translation API for Javascript.
I used the Codeigniter PHP Framework which most people would consider overkill for such a simple concept, but I wanted to learn Codeigniter and this was my learning Codeigniter project so get off my back you nerds!
Tell your friends, it is kind of entertaining in a way. iPhone application is coming soon so you can get fortune-ous messages on the go to brighten or most likely darken your day.

Just the very fact you read my entire website and came to that conclusion, then had the decency to tell me to get a life wasting all that time on posting a comment – I think we both know who needs to get a life.
