Obama Proves He Is an RIAA Lapdog

You all remember the slogans, the fancy and influential spruiking that it was time for real change to come to America and it did in the form of a very likeable (and marketable) family man by the name of Barack Obama.

Oh, he’s brought change alright. Pockets full of change to corrupt banks and power brokers and overpaid executives of corrupt organisations.

A high unemployment rate of 9.4%, continuation of bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy, healthcare reform that severely affects the unemployed and close to homeless poor families, mismanaging the BP oil spill and now nominating ex RIAA lawyer Donald Verrilli Jr to the position of Solicitor General.

I won’t go into a political debate here, but don’t you find it almost comical Barack Obama has nominated the lawyer of probably the worlds most corrupt and out of touch organisation to the grand position of being Solicitor General? Almost sounds a little good to be true, but history has shown that all it takes is a little money and getting a lobbyist into a high political position of power is as easy as watering your garden with a fire hose.

Excuse me while I wash the taste of lies, corruption and deceit out of my mouth..
.. Okay, I’m back. What the fuck? How does someone who has sued a bunch of computerless families, dead people and grandmothers over the years on behalf of the RIAA get recommended by Obama himself? We’re talking about a guy here who obviously holds interests of those he works for above those who have nothing and and done nothing wrong but are forced to agree to cash settlements because they can’t afford to defend themselves in a court.

I guess the saying money talks is true.
