Grand Theft Auto V is a game that just keeps on giving. Originally release in 2013 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, then released in November 2014 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One (current-gen), I have been consistently playing.
Thanks to Rockstar’s commitment to producing fresh online content for GTA V: Online the game has been able to evolve from something awesome to a truly awesome game.
After the recent freeroam updates, Rockstar will not be producing any new content for last-gen consoles. While this might suck for owners of the PS3 or Xbox 360, it is good news for PS4, X1 and PC players of the game.
Recently whilst putting the finishing touches on my game using Construct 2 I ran into an issue using custom web fonts and the CocoonJS plugin for Construct 2.
I was trying to use web fonts which as it turns out, are not supported in CocoonJS. I didn’t want to create a sprite font as I am not a fan of their large file size and the fact most sprite fonts I have tried look horrible on retina displays.
Right in the nostalgia.
The source code for what was a good portion of my childhood for the game Commander Keen has been released. The source code is available on Github right here
I am going to compile this and relive my childhood once more, because I absolutely loved this game. For a 2D side scrolling platformer it was pretty advanced for its time, nowadays we take get better game graphics on our smartphones.
