HELYON Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
I’m Dwayne Charrington, the developer of HELYON. It’s a free, unofficial mobile editor for the Helix Stadium and Helix Stadium XL. You don’t need an account, and the app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated server.
HELYON connects directly to the Stadium you choose to read and edit presets and device settings. It doesn’t send me your presets, device address, or usage history. Local Network permission lets it communicate over Wi-Fi or a compatible USB connection. You can disconnect at any time or revoke that permission in your phone or tablet’s settings.
Your choice of knob or slider controls is saved on your phone or tablet until you change it or delete the app. Device addresses, preset names, settings, and edits are held in memory during use. Offline preview edits are discarded when you leave the preview. The optional extended DSP budget applies only to the current connection and isn’t saved as a preference.
Changes saved to your Helix Stadium remain on that device until you change or delete them there. Deleting HELYON doesn’t delete presets from your Stadium.
If you email me for support, I’ll receive your email address and whatever details you choose to send. I use those messages to answer your request and keep them only as long as needed to resolve it. To request deletion of support messages I hold, email dwaynecharrington@gmail.com with the subject HELYON privacy request.
You can also report a problem through GitHub. GitHub receives information you submit under its privacy policy. Issues are public, so leave out private preset notes and device addresses. Email and browser services process information under their own policies.
Apple and Google may separately process store and crash diagnostics according to your account and device settings. Their policies apply to those services: Apple privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
This policy covers the HELYON app. Opening a support link takes you to a separate website, whose hosting and browser services may process a normal page request, including your IP address.
For help connecting or editing, see HELYON support. For privacy questions, email dwaynecharrington@gmail.com.
