Why Database Administration Is So Hard

When it comes to software and web applications, nobody does it tougher than database administrators. You generally only see DBA’s in their mid thirties because database administration is a highly specialised position that requires a breadth of knowledge across multiple spectrums of databases and to an extent, servers. What skills a database administrator should have Ideally a database administrator and in most cases this rings true, started off as a developer and then specialisation in database administration.

Does The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Have A Design Flaw With Overly Weak Screens?

More cracked screens than a crack den full of Apple loving hipsters. It hasn’t even been out that long and already, stories and images are emerging of countless iPhone 6’s breaking after being dropped just once. Not known for their ability to survive a drop from waist distance, the iPhone 6 appears to be shaping up as the most vulnerable of all iPhone models released so far. During testing of the iPhone 6 for a review, Walt Mossberg actually dropped his iPhone 6 review phone and it broke the screen. While it continued to work, the glass was cracked. A scenario iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 users will be more than aware of.

Talisker 10 Year Old Scotch Whiskey Review

For around $70 AUD per bottle, the Talisker 10 year old scotch whiskey might be out of the price range of some who prefer the likes of Johnny Walker or cheaper bottles of whiskey. This 10 year matured scotch is probably in the middle spectrum of price I would say. It is a very decent single malt scotch with a touch of violet and fresh nose of coastal shrubbery. This is one of my favourite scotches to drink for the price, it is exceptionally smooth and with a dry wood-ash aftertaste. The salty peat might be a little too much for the non-seasoned scotch drinker or scotch drinker who doesn’t like overly peaty scotches.

iPhone 6 Plus Battery Life Issues

Rumours of the iPhone 6 devices battery life being great, have been greatly exaggerated. More specifically the iPhone 6 Plus variant which sports a battery that is around similar territory to that of the Samsung Galaxy S5 boasting a size of a 2906 mAh battery in the plus variant. The new device has reportedly already got some customers hot and bothered as the definitely bigger battery seems to just be there for the bigger screen. As Samsung users have noted, the larger screen and resolution means greater battery drain and the longer your screen is in use, the faster your battery will drain.

I love Udemy. I own about 10 different courses on there, and have completed a few. From self-defence courses to programming and design, I have bought a few of them. Things I Have Noticed After Switching To A Retina Display

The retina display is like beer goggles. It makes things that usually look bad look better, but it also makes things that used to look okay look worse – Dwayne on the Retina Display (2014) Text looks clearer, sites using high resolution graphics look crisper, viewing photos and movies looks like you’re looking at them on a jewel encrusted high definition television and saving parentless orphans from a burning orphanage, these are some of the things the Retina Display offers.

Does Writing Frequency Increase Your SEO?

If you are a frequent visitor to my blog you might have noticed the last couple of months, the last month in particular, my writing frequency on weekdays has been around two to three posts per day on a wide variety of subjects. What you probably didn’t know is I have been running an SEO experiment this whole time to see if blog post frequency helps you rank higher in Google (as well as other search engines like Bing and Yahoo) based on a discussion I had with my SEO Edmonton company friend. Although I just wanted to write more as well.

Why Nobody Cares About Your Idea

A problem a lot of first-time and yet to succeed entrepreneurs encounter is getting caught up in thinking that their idea is unique and that if they tell people about it, it will get stolen. The reality is: nobody else cares about your idea, especially not enough to steal it. An idea is just that, an idea. It isn’t an action, it isn’t a real thing you can hold, it is merely a thought stored away in your head. Even if someone were to steal your idea, unless they worked out a way to clone your brain and view the details, they only have the concept, but not the finer grain details you’ve meticulously thought over in your head.
