Freedom of speech for the win. Sony are trying to remove this code from the internet because it effectively lets you sign any piece of software to run on the Playstation 3 console as if it were 100% legit without the use of firmware hacks and exploits. This is the equivalent of a master key, it unlocks the entire console allowing you to install anything.

Let’s face it, not many people would know how to use this key anyway. However, take a group of gutsy & edgy hackers and give them some time, a flood of programs to sign your software will be out in no time (well sort of already has happened).
Oh, where was I again? Oh, yeah! fuck you Sony. If you weren’t such tight asses about the console and what people could do with it in the first place, this probably wouldn’t have happened.
